Danny (bald) and Mike (also bald) met on the road in 2018 and instantly bonded over their shared obsession with creating strange, clever, and genuinely inspiring instruments for touring and studio work.
Pretty quickly, they realized the acoustic drum world was missing something — gear that could bridge the gap between real percussion and electronic-style sounds. So they set out to build something the drum world had never seen.
Their first creation, The Junk Hat™ — a NAMM Best in Show winner — has been making noise across the globe since 2018, delivering chain-dropping, 808-ish, swamp-funky textures to players of all hair types.
